The earliest settlers in the Adelaide Hills could never imagine that today what was their humble barn is now a luxury couple's retreat. Built in the 1860s, The Barn has been meticulouslly restored by hosts Kirsten and John Gazard to meld historic charm with divine style.

Guests will love the romantic loft bedroom (complete with LCD TV). The very spacious lounge below is warmed by a wood fire, appointed with full entertainment systems and retains all the rusticity of The Barn's early days - but with the comfort of deep lounges, plush carpet and beautiful decorative touches. Another feature is the marvellous spa bathroom with stunning stained glass windows. There is also a full kitchen and separate dining room. Gourmet dinner packs are available so you can come straight from work or the airport and know dinner provisions are waiting for you.

The Old Oak is a spacious hideaway from which to explore the Adelaide Hills including Stirling and Hahndorf as well as McLaren Vale, Victor Harbor and Adelaide City. Also on offer are two comfortable Shearing Suites, each with spa.
